“He that made me whole”

John 5:11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
Brethren, behold how this man who had an infirmity obeyed the God who made him whole. At one time we where spiritually sick, and needed a Saviour to make us Spiritually whole. Jesus Christ, cleansed us and made us spiritually whole! Do we obey Jesus, the one who made us whole? After salvation, the least we can do is obey the Christ who made us whole. The Bible says, in Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 
The once lame man, obeyed Jesus’ command despite it being against the law. I pray to God, that we are willing to obey Him, during times of opposition. The Bible says, in Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” Let us pray that we can stand for the Lord and obey the one who has made us whole. Amen.
